California native bees and ecology

Dr. Gordon Frankie, professor emeritus and primary investigator at the UC Berkeley Urban Bee Lab, and his student Sarah Caso will speak about the ecology of the native bees of California. The presentation will cover the diversity of native bees, plant-pollinator interactions, declining pollinator populations, and native bee-honey bee dynamics. After, Dr. Frankie will answer any questions that you may have. Join us to learn more about your honey bees' local fuzzy friends!
