Tad Fukami on the ecosystem of nectar

Tad Fukami is a professor in the Biology Department at Stanford University and head of the Fukami Lab, a community ecology group at the university. He studies how ecological communities develop and function. Some of this research focuses on the community of microorganisms such as bacteria and yeast that are found in floral nectar and their effects on honey bees and other pollinators.
