This is the video version of the Beekeeping 101 class held on February 25, 2023. We STRONGLY recommend taking this online class before taking the Beekeeping 102: Basic Beekeeping class on March 25. 2023 in person so you can have some basic equipment knowledge and not get lost in language and topics discussed in the first class. In this video, you will learn what equipment will help you keep bees successfully – tools, hive boxes, protective gear and more. Whether you've never kept bees or had bees and have questions, this class provides a solid base for equipment. It will also help prepare you for the second class in the set.
